The short version: this game keeps your data on your own device. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics.

What the app stores

Everything below is stored only on your device. None of it is uploaded to us or to anyone else.

• Player names — the name you type when creating a player
• Avatar choice — which illustrated character you pick
• Saved games — your board, tiles and score, so you can continue later
• Preferences — difficulty, whether sound is on, whether you've finished the tutorial

We cannot see any of this. It never leaves your phone.

What is sent off your device

Word definitions. When you tap a word on the board to look up its meaning, the app sends that single word to one or both of these dictionary services:

• Free Dictionary API (dictionaryapi.dev)
• Wiktionary (en.wiktionary.org, operated by the Wikimedia Foundation)

Only the word itself is sent. Your name, avatar, scores and games are never included. As with any internet request, the service you contact will see your device's IP address — this is how the internet works, and is not something the app controls or records.

These are independent services with their own privacy practices. If you never tap a word to look it up, the app makes no network requests at all.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account or sign-up
• We do not collect analytics or usage statistics
• We do not show advertising
• We do not track you across apps or websites
• We do not sell or share personal information
• We do not use cookies or advertising identifiers

Children

The game is suitable for general audiences and contains no chat, no user-to-user contact, and no content shared between players. Because we collect no personal information at all, we collect none from children.

Deleting your data

• Remove one player: open the player list from the greeting on the home screen and delete that player. Their name, avatar, saved game and settings are erased from the device.
• Remove everything: uninstall the app. All stored data is removed with it.

Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf, and no data export to request.

Permissions

The app requests only internet access, and only so that word definitions can be fetched when you ask for them. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, photos or files.

Changes to this policy

If the app gains features that change how data is handled — for example accounts, an online leaderboard, in-app purchases or advertising — this policy will be updated before those features are released, and the date at the top will change.
